Today, we are attempting to turn a very sad day upside down. Four years ago today, Mimi left this mortal world. And yes, despite smiling for the camera, I am still so sad. It is why my lovely daughter, Katie, and son-in-law, Chad, met me for lunch at McDonald's. It was Mimi's favorite place. She especially loved their French fries. We ate a Happy Meal and thought good thoughts about our Mimi.
